As you are considering a new SA2010 helmet, please read the following about HANS Compatibility and the new SAH Rated helmets.

SAH standard meets all of the requirements of the SA certification, but SAH means that the helmet also has FHR (Frontal Head Restraint) capability – in other words Hans type device connection points. This FHR M6 terminal hardware is fixed in the helmet shell symmetrically on the right and left sides. The hardware has M6 threads and must meet the stringent specifications and testing by Snell. The Snell SAH2010 standard is compatible with FIA8858-2010 and is recognized by the FIA for use outside of North America. SAH rated helmets only have the threaded hole part of the hardware, NOT the anchoring hardware.
